NOODLES AND TENTACLES

Ingredients

* Tin(s) of Octopus (in oil) (you can get this in Sainsbury's near the tuna and stuff)
* Noodles (um... whatever. I used really thin Chinese noodles)
* Sweetish white wine
* Plain yoghurt (Not live! The bacteria will burst out of your stomach!!! Well, ok, maybe it won't. You can't be too careful, though.)
* Pesto
* Red Onion
* Garlic
* Chestnut mushrooms (you could use normal ones, though)
* Plain flour
* Oil for cooking (or I s'pose you could use the oil from the octopus tin if you can be arsed to drain it into the saucepan/frying pan rather than the sink, unlike me)
_________________________________

Drain octopus and put in a shallow bowl, covering with white wine.

Put noodles on to cook.

Fry garlic for a bit in oil.

Add octopus, saving the wine it was in (I just fished it out) and onion.

Cook for a bit.

Add mushrooms and cook for a bit more.

When noodles are done, drain and add yoghurt and pesto, stirring well.

Sieve some flour into the tentacles and stuff.

Tip your octopus-y wine in and stir furiously.

Serve on top of the yoghurty noodles and drink the rest of the wine. (NB. I only had one glass, though.)

What is this confusion you have between dairy products and the film Alien?

You *do* know what yoghurt is don`t you?
