Does anyone know of any alternative club-type affairs in London that happen on Saturdays and aren't Slimelight?

Edit: Please note - should fit the following criteria:

1. Alternative
2. Club
3. London
4. On a saturday
5. Not Slimelight

Thank you. :-)

Not weekly ones, but there's STJ if you hit the last Saturday of the month.

Club Bohemia was alright, I think it's the last Saturday of every month, and it's kinda glammy indie electropoppy stuff. It's in the pub next to Highbury and Islington station.

Electrowerkz are doing a lot more diverse stuff on Fridays that might be worth a look - Sick & Twisted is now doing one-off events there instead of regular nights upstairs at the Garage.

You've also got Inferno at the Electric Ballroom too.

Squiddy and I are looking at travelling around for clubs such as Jilly's Rockworld in Manchester, Chains On Velvet in Norwich & Wendyhouse when I don't have to try to DJ! We'll happily keep you informed if you'd care to join us?

Thanks, but it I'm looking for stuff on Saturdays; the reason being that Ms Pointycat is planning a visit.

Ahhright. Might be worth checking the Slimes website - last I saw, Lab 4 had a date there! :o

Saturday was rubbish music-wise. Same old EBM on the middle floor, awful goth on the ground floor & terrible noise on the upstairs, both of which were virtually empty.

Still, they do serve Strongbow for £2 a can which ain't bad, and cups of tea if you need them!

Dude! I said NOT Slimelight!

(Might be going to Lab 4 anyway as it's after band rehearsal, but doubt Lucy is interested in that.)

Batfink, Sheffield, Friday.

Well, one out of three isn't bad.

We are talking about an as-yet-unspecified Saturday in March, but I might be up for it anyway.

Deffo STJ, would be ace to see you. I found this: http://www.delta-9.net/listings/event.php?id=2009, but more alternative electronica than anything else, particularly, so not sure if it's quite what you meant!
There's some other good stuff on their listings page too. Hope you're both well! xx

D'oh! Oh well. I am an idiot, after all. But do have a poke around there in case anything else tickles your you-know-what. Also maybe check the netgoth website thing?

Firstly - happy birthday!
Secondly - I'll echo the suggestion of Kryptorium, though that's only once every four weeks, I think.
Thirdly - slashGoth no longer exists, but netgoth is still going strong!
