London Aquarium rocks!

We saw the sharks being fed. Yes! markeris watched too! That's right, look impressed.

There's an area where you can touch the rays. They were so cool - they actually come over to you and stick their noses out of the water. I got to touch them a few times, but sadly they seemed to have had their fill before Mr Eris had a chance. Well, I am the birthday girl after all.

No tentacles, though. :-( Will try Brighton Marine World next year

I'm fascinated by sharks, and when I was a child, I read everything I could about them. I'd love to be able to see some up close. I didn't visit the London Aquarium when I was visiting the UK, but I will the next time I'm over there.

Pity about the lack of tentacles though.

There were cuttlefish, but their tentacles were not very long. They *did* look a bit like baby cthulhus, though!

I'm sure they have an octopus in the Weston Super Mare seaworld centre - it ROCKED.

However, phone ahead if planning to visit, as the poor betentacled beastie prolly committed suicide at the pressure of knowing it was the *ONLY* good thing in Weston...
