EXITCLUB IN A F`IN TIKI BAR

- Following on from the rioutous ECOAFBOAT
and the NuMedia baiting chaos of ECAAFAWARDSCEREMONY, we continue our
out of control career around the capital. See - here`s the deal.

Wouldn`t it be nice, we thought, if we could take the clubbing
experience away from the whole "every week we go to *this* place and we
listen to *these* tunes" mentality. Hence we like the idea of one offs
in interesting locations we`ve found (You should see some of the
unusual locations we have planned if we win the lottery.....).
Residents Lee Chaos, Mark Eris and Allezbleu playing a mixture of
"real" alternative like we remember from the 80s, EBM, Twisted beats
served with great big dollops of cheesy soundtracks on the side. Expect
Big Black, The Wonderstuff, Jesus & Mary Chain or PWEI to be as likely
as Ultraviolence or ATR to be as likely as Covenant or APB to be as
likely as the theme from Monkey or Lounge Jazz versions of "Holiday in
Cambodia" to be as likely as Fatboy Slim or The Prodigy. And a
gauranteed helping of Mindless Self Indulgence and Nasenbluten. All
served with a cheeky nod and a wink.

This time we`re in a Tiki Bar. Basically because I`ve always been
fascinated with the idea of Tiki culture in the first place, especially
since I found out Boyd Rice was into it too. I also think it`s going to
be dead funny to watch a load of alternative types find the nastiest
hawiian shirt possible. So there`ll be a prize for best Tiki wear. You
know the drill. The aforementioned hawiian shirts. Grass skirts. Floral
Garlands.

In keeping with the desire to keep it fresh, we`ve got 2 guest DJs
joining us for this `un - Sexbat, as well known for his wit and wisdom
as he is for his regular appearances at Convergence, Whitby and his own
contribution to making club culture a splendid debauch once more "B
Movie". We`ve dared him to bring along some of the tunes he doesn`t
think he`d get away with at his normal nights along with the classics.
Light the blue touchpaper and stand well back...........joining him in
the guests box wil be Deathboy, better known for being, erm, Deathboy.
We`ll be pouring a bottle of Vodka down his gob and letting a child
psychiatrist take notes on his choice of records.

It`s on Thurs 15th May downstairs from Bar & Dining House, 2 Essex
Road, Islingon, 8pm-2am - 1 quid before 10pm / 2 quid after. Should
