Freezer defrosting for the impatient

What you will need:

One hammer
One plastic tub
One mop

1. Remove food from freezer

2. hit large chunks of ice with hammer, taking care not to hit the parts of the freezer that will explode if you hit them

3. collect ice in plastic tub

4. Replace food

5. Mop the floor

That's exactly how I defrost my fridge. Very therapeutic is it too.

BTW, I don't believe we've met. I made Eris' acquaintance when I used to review Wasp Factory bands for a North American zine, and now I'm working with LD50 to make WF famous over here.

It's actually quite hard work, though, due to there not being much room to swing the hammer. But that might be my fault for waiting until the door won't close any more.
