Yup, tiny brown ones. We had them in the old flat, and I really thought we'd left 'em behind. Guess it's taken a few months for them to get here (15 mins walk for us).

But why? WHY??? Why the fucking kettle? What is so great in there?

It's warm and there's plenty of water?

They're the only reasons I can think of! :)

Well, yeah, but I quite like there not to be tiny ants in my coffee.

Could be worse ...

... Could be giant, radioactive, killer ants from Mars in the bathroom

At least those other insects didn't follow you from the old flat! You know, those ones which looked like maggots with legs? I'm still scared they might turn up at ours but I think they liked it in Dalston. Is it the same kettle?

Yes, same kettle, but it had no ants in for ages! And there aren't any in it now, either. It was just a brief return.

They've spread throughout the rest of the kitchen now, though. We have to hide cake in the microwave again. :-(
