There was me, [livejournal.com profile] nicky_j, another girl I can't remember, and [livejournal.com profile] lee_chaos, who decided to drag us off to perform a hilarious prank that seemed to involve creeping into a stranger's house very early in the morning while they were asleep. He chose a house and opened the door very slowly, which creaked like a bastard, and I said, 'wouldn't it better to choose a house where they're not in? Look, someone's awake in this one!' We could see him in his dressing gown through a glass door, watching TV. Lee said it would be ok and motioned us up the stairs. We went into a room; there was someone sleeping in the bed. It seemed that the plan was to stand round the bed frowning at them while they woke up; then leg it. Now I understood, it seemed like a highly amusing idea. When I got closer to the bed, I realised it was Eris, and I revised the idea in my head that we had brought him here, drunk and passed-out, and put him in a strange bed to wake up and get confused (then run away, as before). Quite why he should wake up now for no reason rather than when we were carrying him, I have no idea, but he did and said the obligatory, 'where the fuck is this?' Me, Nicky and the other girl laughed and then started running, but Lee didn't. On our way down, we saw that the dressing gown bloke had noticed our intrusion (as I had feared all along - it's quite hard to be stealthy in new rocks) and got dressed. I had a bit of a wibble about leaving Lee and Eris to deal with him, but we increased speed as we burst through the door. Unfortunately, the bloke started after us, shouting. We found ourselves running slower and slower (damn new rocks!) and he was blatantly gaining on us. By this stage he was shouting that his name was Gary Brown and that we should remember that. He also said, 'do you know what happens when you break into a child molester's house? Do you?' Which made me think, 'well done Lee for picking a complete nutter's house'. It seemed clear that he was going to catch up with us, so I stopped and turned round, saying, 'look, we're really sorry', as he overshot (he was going really fast) and had to come back. He said, 'oh yes! Sorry, are you? I suppose it was all a joke?' at which time I was explaining that it was all a joke. I was about to explain the whole situation, when I woke up (in my own bed, fortunately).

That really sounds like the sort of thing [livejournal.com profile] lee_chaos would do, y'know? :)

In fact, I have vague recollections of something like this happening. Or not. I dunno. I think the power of chaos helps you to forget mischief that has happened :)

You see why it suddenly seemed like a hilarious idea?

Magnificent! It would appear that even the sanctity of sleep cannot save you from the full might of a fiddypee challenge!! ;)

The sad thing is that fiddypee was not apparently involved.
