The Dungeons and Dragons film really does suck. Quite a lot. I can't even find the words to express how much.

I remember watching it for the first time and trying desperately to find something, anything nice to say about it. I think I came up with, "Well, Tianna (10 years old) might like it?" and "The dragon fight scene sounded quite good I suppose.."

That was it. All I could manage. And I think even those two things were an achievement.

It sucks donkey's balls.

Any film with Richard O'Brien (oooh...look where he comes from) and Tom Baker in it can't be all that bad...shame about Superman's rent boy though...

Course it's not. It's a most enjoyable piece of deliberate trash. Verhoeven knew full well what he was doing when he made that.

Yes, Superman's rent boy. I knew I'd seen him somewhere before.

And a message for Messrs O'Brien and Baker: 'What were you thinking?!'

I think the words "small but bankable cheque" would have sprung to mind.

I saw it in the cinema. Even worse on the big screen.
Utter, utter tosh. A live-action of that cartoon would have been better.

Yes. Then Uni and that irritating Barbarian kid could have died at the end.

Don't. For gawd's sake don't. It will make your IQ drop 50 points within the first half hour alone.
